Where Scutes Family Gallery

– Born Wednesday, December 18, 2024 – Olive continues to be strong and traverses Mom’s tummy all the time. While mom, Aysan, hangs upside down, Olive baby sprawls right-side-up on her belly, with its four long limbs wrapped around her torso. With Olive’s dark brown eyes and a perfect pinkish-brown furless face, her cuteness is out of this world. Olive and mom are in the atrium at Scutes Family Gallery, where guests have a chance to see them as long as Mom chooses to be in view. Stay tuned to our social media channels for updates.

Two-toed Sloth Born At Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

A Hoffman’s two-toed sloth was born at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Tuesday, May 14 at 12:15 p.m. The baby appears to be strong, and first-time mom, 19-year-old Chalupa, is exhibiting quality maternal instincts. Beautiful. Understandable. Memorable. Featuring more than 40 species of reptiles in unique, artistic environments that complement their natural beauty. This creative setting is designed to diminish reptile fears and help guests gain an appreciation of these amazing animals. In addition, meander through a separate snake space, where serpents from all over the world show off their remarkable beauty.
